Heart and Stroke Resources
Heart & Stroke Online Community Resources:
Heart & Stroke offers two private, online communities through Facebook: one for people with lived experience of stroke or heart disease (Community of Survivors) and another for caregivers (Care Supporter’s Community). These groups are peer-led and moderated by Heart & Stroke, providing a space to share experiences and support. They are open to those 19+ and can be accessed through the Heart & Stroke website.
Additionally, Heart & Stroke provides a free monthly e-newsletter, Community Connect, which highlights opportunities for involvement in research, advocacy, and access to new resources. This newsletter is for people with lived experience, caregivers, family members, and healthcare providers. To learn more about the online communities or sign-up for the newsletter, please visit https://www.heartandstroke.ca.
Heart & Stroke cardiovascular patient resources:
Want to learn more about cardiovascular disease risks, prevention, and recovery? Heart & Stroke also has numerous patient resources that are available for digital download on our website. Please visit https://www.heartandstroke.ca/what-we-do/publications to access the online catalogue.
