A Dial, Don’t Drive campaign update

Our current Dial Don’t Drive campaign focuses on educating residents of Manitoba and beyond on what a heart attack is, the signs and symptoms, and what you should do if you or a loved one are having one. We are using our social media networks to spread the message about the importance of dialing 911 for a heart attack.

At the beginning of our campaign in 2022, we designed pens, pins, lanyards, and notepads to spread our messaging across healthcare fields. We’ve partnered with paramedics across the province to have our messaging on the back of ambulances, and we’ve been driving our social media campaign online.

We’ve secured advertisements with our campaign messaging on Winnipeg transit buses as well as several digital billboard locations across the city, thanks to Pattison Outdoor Advertising. Throughout January and February, we also had our message on the front page of select Saturday issues in the Winnipeg Free Press.

To help promote our message even further, we’ve designed and printed Dial Don’t Drive posters. Our hope is that they can help educate the people who see them on common heart attack symptoms, that Time is Muscle, and to follow our campaign for more important heart health tips and information. If you or your workplace would like Dial, Don’t Drive promotional materials (posters, pens, pins, lanyards, or notepads) free of cost, please contact us at mbacsnetwork@gmail.com. Our hope is to see Dial, Don’t Drive become the message of 2023!
