An Interesting ECG Case
46M presented with shortness of breath.
ECG is performed:
Computer interpretation:
•Is this ECG concerning for ST elevation? Do you agree with the computer interpretation?
•This ECG shows variable atrial flutter (2:1 and 3:1)
•The computer misinterprets this as ST elevation and T wave abnormality
•The arrows show where the Flutter waves are on the ECG
•Being able to recognize atrial flutter is very important as this affects patients’ management, including discussion of anticoagulation
