A New LMS Learning Module

The LMS learning module ‘Managing acute coronary syndromes (ACS) in the emergency department is now live!

Target audience

This 30-minuted learning module is for healthcare providers care for ACS patients in MB.

What does the learning module include?

The learning module includes 3 components:

1.     Identification of ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMIs)

2.     Algorithms and ten-minute tracing poster

3.     Case studies

How to access

1.     Go to the Shared Health LMS log in page. https://sharedhealthmb.learnflex.net

2.     Create an LMS account (if you don’t already have one). A MB healthcare-related work email address is required.

3.     Log into the LMS.

4.     Use the Search feature (top right) to find Managing ACS in the ED and then click Register.

5.     Launch and complete the course. It does not need to be finished in one sitting.

6.     A copy of the learning module will be shared with the Northern Health Region for upload into their LMS.

7.     Indigenous Services Canada nursing station staff access using a generic LMS account (speak with your manager or educator if you are not sure how to access). Note: a certification of participation cannot be provided.
